PharmInvent, a well-established specialized provider of pharmacovigilance and regulatory science consulting services with offices in Prague is looking for several qualified and talented colleagues: doctors of medicine or students in their last year of studies.
The ideal candidate for Safety Physician will meet the following requirements:
- Medical University degree (Doctor of medicine), or students in their last year (possibility to cooperate with us on a part time basis)
- Practical experience in pharmacovigilance is an advantage, but not a must
- Independent problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Process and task oriented thinking
- Excellent organization skills
- Critical thinking/logical skills
- Willing to do work-related reading outside of work
- Hard working, self-reliant and responsible person
- Advanced knowledge of English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- General computer navigation and work skills
The key responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
- Medical review of adverse drug reactions/adverse event reports
- Assessment of causality, seriousness and expectedness of adverse drug reactions/adverse event reports
- Guidance regarding expedited reporting to any personnel involved
- Medical review of narratives and CIOMS/MedWatch and similar reports in safety database
- Review of MedDRA coding in safety database
- Review of database outputs (e.g., SUSAR line-listings, PSUR tabulations)
- Preparation and medical review of medical parts of aggregate safety reports (DSUR, PSUR)
- Preparation and medical review of medical parts of Risk Management Plans
- On-going evaluation of benefit/risk ratio, both pre-authorisation or post-authorisation
- Participation in signal management
